Hello!
We had another PTO meeting after school today, so here's all the news that's
fit to print. The last 6 weeks of school will be busy ones!!
Please mark these events on your calendar & keep them in mind when booking
field trips:
Saturday, May 1st- Community Hug at
Rawsonville. Approx. 9:00 a.m.- Noon.
Coffee, juice
& donuts will be provided. Please come prepared to
work
outside. If you have any suggestions for what the school
needs (ie.
mulch, flowers, etc.), send them to Sue.
Week
of May 3rd- Staff
Appreciation Week! Go
Rawsonville!! J
Staff
lunch will be provided by PTO & Sue on the May 7th PD Day.
Friday,
May 7th- Career Day. This is a « day of school (due to PD in
the PM), so sessions
will be in the
morning. More details to come.
Friday,
May 14th- District-wide
Young Author’s Conference. More details to
come.
Wed.,
May 19th- School-wide “Goodies
Factory” Bouncy Party. More details to
come.
Friday,
May 28th- Field
Day. 3rd, 4th
& 5th grades in the
AM; K, 1st & 2nd grades in the PM.

Tuesday,
June 1st- School-wide
Music Concert @ BHS Auditorium.
Time TBA.
Friday,
June 4th- Rawsonville’s
Annual Carnival. 2:00
p.m.-3:30 p.m. Lunches will be
moved up a bit
to accommodate, but more details to come.
P.T.O. stands for Parent Teacher Organization. The purpose of this group of parents
and teachers is to plan the fun activities that will highlight your child’s
school year. Enriching our kids’ school experience is the goal as we plan
fundraisers that pay for educational assemblies, books, computers, classroom
supplies, playground equipment and of course the wonderful landscape enhancements
that will beautify our school.
